Situated next to the Abattoirs gallery of modern and contemporary art, it is a wonderful place to linger. A botanic garden provides an insight into nature, while a traditional wooden carousel and various other activities are sure to keep children amused.

Night-time visits to the park are organised by the Office de Tourisme to enable visitors to enjoy an unrivalled view of the blue line across the river Garonne and the city's "Plan Lumière" illuminations.
