Festival Occitania
(September - October)

Les Orients d'Occitanie, an encounter with contemporary Occitan creativity.
The Occitània Festival is an illustration of the links between Occitan culture and the Mediterranean and Oriental worlds (Judeo-Spanish, Arab-Andalusian, North African, Byzantine Turkish, Berber, Greek, Catalan), with over 400 artists taking part in fifty events covering the whole range of artistic disciplines!
A highly colourful programme that incorporates every aspect of cultural creation, from the burlesque to the tragic, from free-jazz to classical, cinema to video, charcoal to the uncertain, performance to debate, dance to discussion, with time out for meals!
