Festival Occitania
(September - October)
FThe Occitania festival was created in 2000 by the "Institut d'Etudes Occitanes 31". The whole of Occitania, and particularly Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrénées region, are animated by two major axes of communication: the Mediterranean area, or the "Orient of Occitania " and the Atlantic between Morocco and Scotland.
The region truly lies "Between Two Seas" and is enriched by diverse and original cultural syntheses, which this 10th edition of the Occitania festival aims to highlight, with its "Entre Duas Mars" theme.
Contemporary Occitan creative productions, including all artistic disciplines, will there meet up with the widest audiences and international cultural dynamics. Along the way, fabulous encounters are in view!
