This theatre is an old municipal building that was converted to a theatrical venue in 1982. Although the auditorium, with its 345-seat balcony, receives nationally and even internationally-respected companies today, its vocation has always been training for and development of amateur theatre, under the auspices of resident company "Théâtre Réel". A fair share is also given to regional companies, which find excellent conditions here for the promotion of contemporary theatre.
