Paintings and sculptures from the early Christian era up to early XXth century.

Housed since 1793 in the Augustinian monastery building, it offers the visitor the chance to stroll in one of the finest groups of monastic buildings from the XIVth and XVth centuries. With a collection of exhibits unique in the field of Romanesque sculptures, the museum also houses masterpieces of Southern Gothic as well as a fine selection of Renaissance and classical works from Toulouse by Bachelier, Arcis Lucas, Maillol, Rodin and Camille Claudel.

Painting is well represented with a fine Italian collection including works by Perugino, Guido, Crespi, Guardi and others. French painting from the XVIIth to the XIXth centuries is represented by Champaigne, Moillon, Largillière, Vigié-Lebrun, Ingres, Delacroix, Corot and Courbet, as well as canvasses of early modern art: Monet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Vuillard and Manguin.
A representative selection of paintings from the Golden Ages of painting in Toulouse rounds off the tour, with works by Chalette, Tournier, Jean-Pierre and Antoine Rivalz, Jean and François de Troy, Roques, Jean-Paul Laurent and Henri Martin.
Opening Times
Every day from 10.00 to 18.00, late opening on Wednesdays till 21.00.

Wednesday 24 and December 31, the museum will close its doors at 17.00.

> Evening opening on Wednesdays and organ concert

Take advantage of the peaceful evenings to stroll through the illuminated Gothic cloisters and discover or revisit the museum's masterpieces. Organ concert at 8.00 pm: every Wednesday there will be a half-hour organ concert in the church, using the Baroque-style organ built by Jürgen Ahrend in 1981. The concert is free on presentation of the museum entry ticket.
