The Carmelite chapel

The Carmelite convent was built in the 16th century. Its chapel survives, and is noted for its remarkable decor: 17th century murals by Jean-Pierre Rivalz, and 18th century murals by Jean-Baptiste Despax. The rest of the convent was destroyed during the revolution.
