Toulouse Croisières invites you aboard Le Capitole, their comfortable and spacious new pleasure cruise boat, with room for 150 passengers, a vast covered area for panoramic viewing (sliding roof), two promenade decks, bar, sound and video systems, toilet facilities and heating.
Le Capitole offers a discovery cruise on the Garonne. Centuries of history have passed across the Pont Neuf, the loveliest and paradoxically the oldest bridge in Toulouse; the Hotel Dieu Saint Jacques, the former hospital built entirely of brick, which cared for the pilgrims en route to and from Compostella; the calm of the embankments where the people of Toulouse love to stroll and catch the last rays of the setting sun; the Saint Michel lock where the ingenuity of man never ceases to impress us. The Dome of La Grave, Saint-Pierre des Cuisines and many others glinting in the gentle and pink-hued atmosphere of the city is a truly pleasurable sight. Departs at 4.45pm and 6.15pm, length: 1h15. Adults: 8 euros.
River Garonne + Canal discovery cruise: enjoy a cruise on the river Garonne, passing through the Saint Pierre lock and travelling along the lush green Canal de Brienne, a charming waterway which links the Garonne to the Ponts Jumeaux, the meeting point of Toulouse's three canals. Then it's back to the Garonne where you can discover the monuments of Toulouse from the river. Departs at 10.30am and 3.15pm. length: 1h15. Adults: 8 euros.
