Le Printemps de Septembre in Toulouse is an entirely free festival dedicated to the visual arts and live shows. Painting, drawing ,sculpture, photography, video and performance, choreographies, cine-concerts and concerts of current music , a contemporary creation statement is presented to you every year, in a dozen different sites at the heart of Toulouse. A journey you can also make at night, guided by the city lights.

Entitled D'un autre monde, and placed under the artistic direction of Anne Pontégnie, the 21st edition of the contemporary arts festival brings together works by some forty artists in which invention and abstract energies are more important than the representation of the world as it appears. Pagan ceremonies, marks and totems are the tools used to signal a change in the position of art and of the artist in his world, to signal a desire for connections rather than breaks, for expression that is singular but not existential, turned outwards, towards the possibility of renewing the uses of art.

As every year, the Nomadic Nights will present a rich and high-quality programme of live shows during the Nocturnes (late-night openings) where, for the third consecutive year, the Late Night Radio will be injecting an added dose of live excitement from the Ecole des beaux-Arts.

The Printemps is also inaugurating its International Festival of Art Schools, offering a vision of fresh work by students or young graduates from Düsseldorf, Oslo, Toulouse and Tourcoing (Le Fresnoy).
