The IMAX¨ cinema (giant screen and 3D glasses provided) and Planetarium (360° circular screen and astronomic simulator) mean that visitors are no longer merely spectators of the skies but find themselves actually IN Space!
Within the grounds themselves, you'll find an unusual range of lifesize spacecraft. Climb on board the Soyuz 1st generation spacecraft and an exact replica of Mir, the famous space station in which many Russian cosmonauts have been trained. Come and admire the 53-metre high Ariane 5 rocket as if you were at Kourou!
There are a number of facilities for children, including the Small Astronauts' Square, a very special play area. The Base des enfants (children's base) is our new children's attraction, offering a world of breathtaking scenery in which the children themselves are space heroes!
The Stellarium, a planetarium for very young children, uses a magical story to introduce them to the magic of the stars and the discovery of the constellations.
Over 250 exhibits, mostly interactive, to help you admire, test, learn..and imagine.

> the "Gyro-Extrême"!
Thrills guaranteed with this new activity, the "Gyro-Extrême" which shows you what it's like to be a real astronaut. This strange title conceals a rotating seat, used to test the physical capacities of the astronaut, especially their sense of direction, which is very useful for navigating in space. The "Gyro-Extrême" is an astonishing machine: it's not dangerous, but it temporarily disturbs your sense of direction and puts you upside down. From age 7 approximately.
