This gallery is housed in the former water tower dating from 1823 and built to supply the various fountains and water supply points in the city, and the old hydraulic machinery can still be seen.

Founded in 1974 by the Toulouse photographer Jean Dieuzaide, this is one of the most visited and oldest photographic galleries in Europe, and offers exhibits on the history of early and contemporary photography. It stages regular exhibitions of nationally and internationally famous photographers.
