C'est de la Danse Contemporaine

The CDC festival has become the essential meeting place for contemporary dance in Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrénées region. The festival's fifth edition offers a comprehensive international overview of choreographic creative productions.

For three weeks, to wild rhythms, festivalgoers can discover a conspectus of creations such as Black? White!, the latest work by the young South African choreographer Nelisiwe Xaba or even the great Canadian choreographer Edouard Lock, whose work will be performed at Toulouse and Tarbes. Another of the recognised leading lights of the international scene, the German choreographer Sasha Waltz will be taking up the grand stage of the TNT (Théâtre National de Toulouse).

Of course the CDC remains loyal to certain artists, such as Mathilde Monnier and Maguy Marin, two major figures of French contemporary dance, whose work , which can be described as singular, to say the very least , will astonish. Young international artists and choreographers living in the region complete this edition.
