Festival Flamenco

(from 17 to 22 March 2009)

The theme of the 8th annual flamenco festival in Toulouse will be women in flamenco. Women will be at the centre of a week of celebration whose aim is to pay homage to the intelligence and talent of all the women who perform and promote this art.

Two grand "Noches flamencas", dedicated to these women, will be held in the Halle aux Grains on 20th and 21st March 2009 with performances from Isabel Bayón, Montse Cortes and Esperanza Fernández. These female performers will ignite the flame of passion and reveal the ardour of their commitment to flamenco by means of body, soul and voice.

FLAMENCO STAYS
